Founder’s Letter

When my brother, Kenneth M. Grebe, passed away, the world lost a rare kind of light — one shaped by courage, curiosity, and an unwavering creative spirit.

Ken saw the world differently. He felt deeply, created boldly, and lived with a sincerity that left an imprint on everyone who knew him. His art was more than expression; it was connection, healing, and truth.

In the months that followed his passing, one question returned again and again: How do we honor a life that gave so much?

The answer was clear. We continue the work he began.

The Kenneth M. Grebe Foundation was created by those who knew and loved him most: his partner, Charlotte Cloe Fox Wind; his close friend and trusted steward of his artwork, Scott Gross; and family members committed to preserving his legacy with care and integrity.

Together, we seek to honor the values Ken lived by — authenticity, compassion, resilience, and the belief that creativity can change lives.

Through this foundation, we hope others will encounter the same spark that defined Ken’s life: through his artwork, through the artists we support, and through the community we build in his name.

Thank you for being here and for helping ensure that Ken’s light continues to inspire future generations.

With gratitude,
Sheila McCune
Co-Founder, The Kenneth M. Grebe Foundation
