Art to Art: Creative Well, The Money Talk

Art to Art: Creative Well

The Money Talk

June 9, 2026
Phoenixville Daily

Money is one of the most common—and least openly discussed—parts of sustaining a creative life.

Pricing work. Asking for payment. Grants. Contracts. Studio rent. Client work. Balancing creative practice with jobs, family responsibilities, and the realities of everyday life.

For June's Art to Art gathering, we'll open space for an honest conversation around the financial realities of creative practice—not as experts with perfect answers, but as working artists navigating these questions in real time.

This month's session will feature a roundtable of professional artists sharing their experiences with creative income, sustainability, opportunities, setbacks, and the lessons they've learned along the way. The evening will also include anonymous audience questions, guided discussion, community conversation, and a brief creative wellness component.

Anonymous questions are especially encouraged for this session.

What's the money question you've never felt comfortable asking out loud?
