Hammocks Across America: Ken’s birthday hang

A day to rest, breathe, and enjoy yourself.

Inspired by the philosophy of Kenneth M. Grebe

“A chance to collectively be kind to yourself.
If not now, when?
Today is the day… enjoy yourself.
Why not you? Love yourself.”

On two Sundays each year, people across the country step away from the rush of life and spend a little time in a hammock — outside if possible, alone or together.

A moment of rest.
A moment of joy.
A moment of kindness to yourself.

The dream?
Enough people relaxing in hammocks across the country that we could hold hands across America.
