Art to Art: Creative Well, What Remains

What Remains

Every creative life leaves something behind.

Sometimes it's artwork. Sometimes it's influence. Sometimes it's a conversation, a relationship, an act of encouragement, or a way of seeing the world.

For February's Art to Art gathering, we'll explore the complicated and deeply human questions of legacy, stewardship, memory, and creative inheritance.

What remains after a work is finished?

What remains after an artist is gone?

What do we carry forward from the people who shaped us?

And what responsibilities come with caring for the work, stories, and communities that outlive their creators?

This conversation will include reflections on the ongoing stewardship of Ken's artistic legacy alongside a broader discussion of how artists leave their mark on one another and on the communities they help create.

The evening will include guided discussion, anonymous audience questions, community conversation, and a brief creative wellness component.

Because what remains is rarely just the work itself.

Presented by the Kenneth M. Grebe Foundation.
