Finding a Home: The KMG Legacy Space Initiative

Over the past several months, the Kenneth M. Grebe Foundation has been quietly taking shape.

We have received our 501(c)(3) status, secured a temporary home for our operations, and begun building programs that reflect Ken’s belief in creativity as a vital, everyday force — something that connects, heals, and brings people together.

Now, an unexpected opportunity has emerged.

We have been offered first rights to purchase a historic property in the very community Ken loved — a space that could become a permanent home for this work.

A place for:

  • exhibitions and installations

  • workshops and creative learning

  • performances and gatherings

  • connection, reflection, and joy

A place where Ken’s artwork can live alongside the work of emerging and established artists.
A place where creativity is not separate from life, but part of how a community grows.

We have already received an early commitment of $40,000 toward this effort, and we are now opening this initiative to our wider community.

This is a rare and time-sensitive moment.
If we are able to act, we can root this foundation in a physical space — one that can serve artists and the community for generations.

If not, the opportunity will pass.

We are calling this effort The KMG Legacy Space Initiative.

If this vision resonates with you, we invite you to be part of it.
