KENNETH M GREBE FOUNDATION

Preserving legacy. Supporting artists. Building community.

Issue No. 01 — April 2026

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your patience and your continued presence with us.

While the grief of losing Ken remains as present as ever, we are deeply inspired by the many ways you have helped keep his spirit and creative legacy alive. Your stories, your support, and your willingness to walk with us through this time have meant more than we can express.

Over the past six months, the Kenneth M. Grebe Foundation has taken meaningful steps forward—steps that reflect both Ken’s generosity and the community he built around his art, his humor, and his way of seeing the world.

Foundation Milestones

✔ 501(c)(3) Status Secured
As of September 2025, we are a tax-exempt nonprofit, allowing tax-deductible contributions and supporting future grants and partnerships.

✔ 2025 Community Contributions
This early generosity, nearly $5,000, provides the foundation's seed funding, allowing us to establish operations, secure non-profit status, and begin preserving and organizing Ken’s artwork and legacy archive.

✔ A Working Space Established
With the help of a close friend, we now have a space to begin cataloging the KMG Collection and prepare for small gatherings and future exhibitions.

✔ 2026First Grant — $5,000 from Mariner Wealth Management
A generous gift that makes it possible to support local artists through our micro-grant initiative.

✔ Website Launch
Here, you’ll find our mission, upcoming events, ways to get involved, and a growing collection of Ken’s work.

Looking Ahead

In the coming months, our work will take shape through a series of gatherings, events, and small releases; each event is rooted in connection, creativity, and shared experience, carrying forward the philosophies that inspired this foundation.

A first opportunity to experience a mini selection of Ken’s work within an intimate, evolving gallery space: an opening into what will continue to grow

A recurring, year-round gathering for artists focused on sustaining creative practice through conversation, reflection, and connection

Ken’s Birthday Gathering 5/13
A joyful, community-centered evening of music, art, and presence held in the spirit of celebration and togetherness

Hammocks Across America 5/17 & 8/30
A quiet, collective moment of rest and reflection shared across places, but held together through a simple act of being

Seasonal Merch Releases
Thoughtfully produced pieces featuring Ken’s work are created to be both accessible and lasting, and to carry his work into everyday life

Fall Gathering (in development) September
A larger outdoor event bringing together music, art, and community, carrying forward Ken’s spirit through shared creative experience

We are also preparing to introduce our first grant cycle, July - September, with the intention of offering direct support to artists and creative work within the communities connected to this foundation.

More details will be shared soon.

At the same time, we continue to build toward a dedicated KMG Legacy Space—a place to preserve Ken’s work and support the creative community for years to come.

Gratitude

Your support—through donations, time, shared memories, or simple presence—has helped us move forward with clarity and purpose.

Together, we are building something that reflects Ken’s spirit:
generous, creative, and enduring.

We’re grateful you’re here with us, and we look forward to continuing this work together.

With love and kindness,
Cloe, Scott, and Sheila
The Kenneth M. Grebe Foundation

Enjoy yourself. If not now, when?
